If it Matters to You, it Matters to Him
Let’s proclaim this in our lives because we have a faithful Father,
who is good, merciful, and loving!

In our walk of faith, we often encounter moments that test our resolve, challenge our beliefs, and ultimately, strengthen our relationship with God. My own journey has been marked by such moments, and I've found that in each of these, the faithfulness of God has been my anchor.
Reflecting on 2 Timothy 2:11-13, I've come to understand the profound truth that if we die with Christ, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. Even if we are faithless, He remains faithful. This truth was brought home to me in the most personal way when I found myself at death's door, both literally and circumstantially.
I've lived a life of drug addiction, but also a life in His presence. I've had dreams of being a missionary and in the same dream moments of renouncing my faith. Yet, through it all, I've found that Christ's promise in John 10:10 holds true: He has come that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.
In Christ, what was once dead now has life, and life to the fullest. This is the power of enduring with Him. As Ephesians 2:4-6 tells us, even when we were dead in trespasses, God made us alive together with Christ. He raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
However, we must also remember the warning in Matthew 10:33. If we deny Christ before men, He will also deny us before His Father in heaven. This is not a threat, but a promise, a testament to God's faithfulness. We can't earn His faithfulness, but we can deny it. The story of the two thieves crucified with Christ in Luke 23:39-43 serves as a stark reminder of this truth.
Yet, even when we are faithless, He remains faithful. This is because He cannot deny Himself. You matter to Him because He matters to you. Accept that He is doing great things, through you and with you.
Matthew 6:33 encourages us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to us. This is the essence of our faith journey. We are doing this, and therefore, if it matters to us, it matters to Him.
As we journey together in faith, I challenge you to think about something that is important to you, and to give it to God. For me, it's a house. Not for my own sake, but to provide a place for those in need. I encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness and goodness, and to give your burdens to Him. After all, if it matters to you, it matters to Him.
